The largest and most popular part of the Bouwkunde Bedrijvendagen is the career market. This will take place on Wednesday the 19th of March 2025. The first floor of Vertigo, the faculty building of the built environment department, will be transformed into a notable exchange with a multitude of stands. This market aims to bring students into contact with the companies and vice versa. Participation in the career market is possible through establishing your own information stand. This stand will be in possession of your company during the afternoon. The catering, which includes a comprehensive lunch, will be provided by us for you. In the period leading up to the Bouwkunde Bedrijvendagen, all students of the built environment will be notified about the large, upcoming career market.

This will be achieved through promotional materials such as posters and flyers, recommendations from professors and teachers, active promotion and promotion via social media. With this emphasis on promotion, the Bouwkunde Bedrijvendagen strives to increase the number of students visiting the career market even more. You will present your company in the Company Guide, which forms a reference work for all students with an overview of all participating companies.

Closing drink

The Career Market will be concluded with a drink. At this drink, the participating companies, sponsors, the committee of recommendation, and the students are most welcome to end the day in a successful way with a drink and a bite.

As in other years, we will also give the company the possibility to talk with students individually. These 15-minute conversations will take place on the 19th of March 2025 from 8:45am to 12:30pm. This morning offers a unique chance to talk with the students, that are selected by you based on their CV’s, about your company and the career possibilities for the student. The morning will consist of ten rounds of conversation prior to the Career Market. If there is a need for more conversations, then there is a possibility to reserve another room, provided that enough students have signed up for this.

During the ‘Company Dinner,’ companies and students get the chance to get in contact with each other in an informal way. The dinner will consist of a three-course menu where students will switch tables after every course. Per course, a maximum of 4 students will be sitting together with your company. The Company Dinner will take place on 26th of March 2025.

The Kick-Off event of this year’s Bouwkunde Bedrijvendagen will take place on the 18th of March from 12:30-13:30 in the Trappenzaal!

On Wednesday of 19th of March the highlight and most visited event of the Bouwkunde Bedrijvendagen – the Career Market – will be organized on Plaza, Vertigo, from 12:30 to 16:00. 

With over 50 companies from the Built Environment joining this year’s edition, this is the moment to get to know every single one of them and start expanding your network. With a great variety of companies on the market, from structural engineering firms to real estate companies and numerous companies in the architectural sector, there are plenty of companies that will suit your interest.

Not only companies will be present; also all study associations are there to inform you about the companies that fit their discipline. If you are not sure where to start, you could also join a tour by one of the study associations. After the market closes at 16:00, everybody is more than welcome to join the companies for some drinks at Plaza.

This is your moment to get a more formal, private talk with the representatives of a company of your interest. Every interview will last 15 minutes in which you can present yourself and ask all the questions you want to ask the companies. It could possibly be your first contact moment with your future employer!

The Company Dinner will be the closing event of this year’s edition and will take place on the 26th of March from 18:00 to 22:00

During this event, for a small fee, students get the chance to talk to companies in an semi-formal atmosphere. The Company Dinner will consist of four rounds. The first three rounds include a course and the last round includes a drink. After each round, the students will switch tables, so you get a chance to talk to different experts of the Built Environment.

The Workshops are a new type of event this year. Together with a company you will work alongside other students on a small assignemnt or a case study, getting a glimpse of the professional world of the built environment.
