The Workshops are a new type of event this year. Together with a company, you will work alongside other students on a small assignment or a case study, getting a glimpse of the professional world of the built environment.
On March 26th, from 9:00 to 12:30, an exciting workshop by Ruimtevolk will take place as part of the BBD agenda. This interactive session offers a unique chance to explore design-driven research and collaborate with fellow students on developing future scenarios for the Eindhoven region.
Ruimtevolk specializes in tackling societal and spatial challenges, offering governments, market parties, and communities clear analyses, robust strategies, and actionable perspectives. By combining multidisciplinary expertise with a hands-on approach, they create smart connections between opportunities, challenges, and ambitions at every scale.
In this workshop, you’ll dive into scenario thinking for the Eindhoven region. After an introduction showcasing real-world projects by Ruimtevolk, you’ll team up with fellow participants to address complex issues such as urban growth, sustainability, and livability. Guided by experts, you’ll develop innovative strategies to navigate the uncertain future of the region while learning how to balance stakeholder interests and long-term goals.
This is your opportunity to gain valuable insights into design-driven problem-solving, work on real-world challenges, and showcase your creativity. Don’t miss this chance to collaborate with Ruimtevolk and contribute to shaping the city of tomorrow.
The subscription for the masterclass closes on the 21st of March. Subscribe through the BBD app.
